Embracing Truth Ministries (east) was established in 2011. For (2) years we met in (3) different locations including the Embassy Suites Hotel, a corporate office complex and a traditional church edifice.
     In year (3) we acquired a vacant grocery store at the corner of 52nd & Wyalusing. With a small workforce of men from the church and day laborers from the community we completely renovated the 10,000 plus square foot space into a respectable house of worship in less than 90 days.  
     The initial phase was financed through a small grant from a faith partner, the contributions of the church members and scrap metal taken from the demolition of the old grocery store. The entire renovation was completed in less than 90 days and provided supplemental income for several unemployed men within the community.
     Initially, the storefront location did not seem to be a good site for a fledgling ministry looking to upstart its efforts in impacting the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, since 2014 the Lord has rewarded our vision & obedience. With His help we have transformed a community eye-soar into a credible and effective ministry. We are growing spiritually and numerically. In 2013 our membership consisted of a core group of 45.

We are excited about the vision God has entrusted to us. There is still a lot of work to do, but we believe, "...if God be for us who can be against us?"
